Return to Sports Training

Return to Sports Training is a structured and progressive plan designed to guide athletes through the process of safely resuming sports participation after recovering from an injury, surgery, or a period of rest. The primary goal of such a program is to ensure that athletes are physically ready to return to their sport while minimizing the risk of re-injury. The return to sports program is developed by the physical therapist and takes into consideration the nature of the athlete's injury, the specific sport's demands, the individual's physical condition, and any other relevant factors.
